Rumored Demand of Cancellation of Draw 2008 by DDA Flats Applicants

Rumors of DDA Housing Scheme 2008 Applicants demanding immediate cancellation of the Draw have. After reports of irregularities in the DDA Draw 2008 Results, media channels are running news claiming that the 12.64 lakh applicants have concluded a demand of cancellation of the draw and a CBI probe into the entire issue.

In addition to this, DDA is also supposedly being asked to pay 8% interest on Registration amount of Rs. 1.5 Lakhs charged by the authority to all unsuccessful applicants. An informal association called the DDA Flat Applicants Association has been formed voicing the demands of each applicant.

DDA – Delhi Development Authority had announced return of the Registration amount by 31st December to each unsuccessful applicant. Whereas, the DDA Flat Applicants Association claims that a number of them are yet to receive it. This has triggered hearsays of the demand filed by the association to DDA for canceling the Draw and paying interest.
